Abstract
All production processes generate pollution and cause damages to the environment as well as the society. Investigation of the influence of operational parameters of energy systems on formation of cost of pollutants requires the application of emissions modeling. Due to the fact that modeling based on physical phenomenon is very complicated and requires often long time of computational time, the empirical techniques can be applied. The results of identification and verification of emission empirical models (regression and neural) are presented in the paper. The possibilities of application of these models for environmental costing is discussed.
