Abstract

In recent research, clustering protocols have gained a lot of interest in heterogeneous wireless sensor networks (HWSNs) because of handling many critical applications. This paper proposes the extension of MICHB (Modified Intelligent cluster head election based on Bacterial foraging optimization) for three level HWSNs.
