Spectrum scarcity is alleviated by cognitive radio and promises to improve temporal spectral efficiency. The collaborative communication increases accuracy & throughput of CR. Further, Cooperative communication with smart antennas extends CR in both space and time. A CR based on smart antennas is both adaptable and non-intrusive, is being investigated in this paper. The suggested method utilizes beam forming to improve spectrum sharing between primary and cognitive users. Cognitive transmitters with SA are designed to minimize interference to the main receiver.
