Implementación de realidad aumentada en aplicaciones móviles en la educación superior: retos y oportunidades

Abstract

Con cada tecnología que aparece, también surge una oportunidad para detonar la mejora de un proceso, así la realidad aumentada (RA) ha demostrado ser eficiente para mejorar el proceso de aprendizaje a través de la observación, análisis y comprensión de temas complejos. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo explorar los retos y oportunidades que representa la implementación de RA en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje a nivel de educación superior. Los resultados corroboran que este tipo de aplicaciones representan una oportunidad, ya que apoyan el proceso de comprensión de los temas, motivan al estudiante y le dan autonomía para aprender. Sin embargo, también demuestra que el proceso de desarrollo de este tipo de aplicaciones requiere infraestructura en hardware y software, capacitación del personal docente, disponibilidad de tiempo y personas involucradas, contar con un marco de trabajo para su desarrollo y, de una estrategia para ponerla a disposición de los usuarios. This work aims to explore the challenges and opportunities that the implementation of AR represents in the teaching-learning process at the higher education level. The results corroborate that these types of applications represent an opportunity, since they support the process of understanding the topics, motivate the student and give them autonomy to learn. However, it also shows that the development process of this type of applications requires hardware and software infrastructure, training of teaching staff, availability of time and people involved, having a framework for its development and a strategy to implement it. available to users.
