It is shown that the oscillation amplitude of the auditory sensitivity threshold for acoustic pressure at the resonance frequency is equal to the quality of the middle ear. This represents a new diagnostic technique at the functional (reversible) level. Abstract

Formulas for hearing diagnosing and audiometry are considered based on the formula for middle ear norm parameter by means of existing multifrequency tympanometers.
