This study aims to determine the effectiveness of PKH in an effort to reduce poverty in Payakumbuh. The subjects of this study were Beneficiary Families (KPM) in five sub-districts in Payakumbuh City which consisted of 98 respondents. The method used is a qualitative approach, then the research results are explained using descriptive analysis. Effectiveness is based on the reference standard for Research and Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs through aspects of input, process, and output. Overall, the analysis of the effectiveness of the Family Hope Program in tackling Poverty in Payakumbuh City is stated to be quite effective, with an average calculation of the overall variables of 63.67%.
