Toponyms Berestye, Brest-Litovsk, Brest-nad-Bugom, Brest in the onomastic space of Brest region

Abstract

В статье рассматриваются топонимы Берестье, Брест-Литовск, Брест-над- Бугом, Брест и их производные, образующие в ономастическом пространстве особый пласт единиц. Данный ономастический пласт отличается открытостью, постоянно пополняется новыми единицами и характеризует процессы искусственной номинации. Описываются способы образования оттопонимных ономастических единиц, акцентируется их этнокультурная маркированность. Ключевые слова: ономастическое пространство, топоним, эргоним, прагматоним, ивентоним, поликодовый текст The article deals with the toponyms Berestye, Brest-Litovsk, Brest-nad-Bugom, Brest and their derivatives, which form a special layer of units in the onomastic space. This onomastic layer is distinguished by openness, is constantly being supplemented with new units and characterizes the processes of artificial nomination. The author describes formation of onomastic units derived from toponyms, their ethnocultural marking; highlights the standpoint of a transdisciplinary approach and the dominant vectors of its study.
