Abstract
This paper discusses the problem of fault detection for discrete-time switched systems with time-varying state delay by using a novel switched lyapunov functional. Sufficient condition of constructing an observer is achieved. This obtained condition is formulated to obtain a new reduced size LMI with slack matrix variable.
