A high-precision torque sensor and a digital filter are used to observe torque ripple and measure torque value of the induction motor. By using indirect efficiency measurement, temperature influences on the resistance are taken into account and the torque on the shaft could be compensated. Therefore, precision of the novel methods are higher than that of the traditional method. Abstract
This paper analyzes two novel methods of torque ripple testing and efficiency evaluation for three-phase induction motor.
