Abstract
In this paper, we discuss different smart building communication protocols or systems. We discuss the security features of the existing smart building communication protocols systems. We also discuss the possible attacks and vulnerabilities relying on the building automation systems. We provide the taxonomy of the most popular smart building communication protocols considering security features and energy-saving solutions.
