Abstract

The authors describe simulations of the GPS (Global Positioning System) and GLONASS integrity channel (GIC), which will be used to broadcast GPS and GLONASS health information to mobile users. The simulator includes models for the signals from the GPS, GLONASS, and geostationary satellites; the user equipment; the integrity monitors; the integrity network control sites; and the communication links between the monitors and control sites. The authors describe the simulation of a worldwide integrity network with depth two coverage, and the simulation of a depth two network for North America.<>
