Abstract

Long-term investors manage trillions of dollars. For the last fifty years, these offices have relied on antiquated technologies to achieve their fiduciary goals. We are at the cusp of change. In this paper, we take a look at the technological path that these offices have taken, make observations about the current state of affairs, and propose an inevitable financial technology destination: Functional Singularity.
