Abstract

As the population grows, the demand for energy worldwide is increasing. According to studies, a high percentage of energy needed in the world is provided by fossil fuels. Climate change, the extinction of important species of animals, droughts, or successive floods are problems caused by excessive consumption of fossil fuels. One of the appropriate and intelligent solutions is the transition from fossil energy to renewable energy. Iran, has a high potential for the use and development of renewable energy.
