Abstract
A disunity seems to exist between psychology and psychiatry, stemming from their distinct theoretical backgrounds, with a notable disconnect in how to approach and treat severe mental health conditions. This reflective piece will seek to discuss and attempt to answer the questions – is there room for psychology and psychiatry to grow by addressing their disunity?
