Abstract

The research and development of fuel cell technology has been conducted in HHI as the promising energy source since 1996. Two units of 200 kW-class PAFC system were introduced from ONSI, and tested at the HHI's yard to investigate the features of the output electricity, the synchronization with the electric utility grid, the performance assessment of the heat recovery system, and the characteristic analysis of unit system.
