To control an IPQC, a modified DPC scheme based on three level and two level hysteresis controllers is designed to get a power factor close to unity with minimum Total Harmonic Distortions (THDs) of the supply currents. MATLAB/ SIMULINK environment is used to model the proposed PMSM drive. Abstract

This paper presents design and modeling of Direct Torque Control (DTC) and Direct Power Control (DPC) four quadrant Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drive.
