Abstract

This paper introduces three offshore wind power transmission modes, which are power frequency AC, flexible DC and low-frequency AC. Secondly, the key technologies including parameter design and control strategy of large-capacity AC/AC frequency converter used in low-frequency transmission system are studied. Then, it is verified by system modelling and simulation that one 400 MW offshore wind power transmitted by low-frequency has technical feasibility, and the correctness of parameter design and control strategy is also tested.
