Abstract
While interest and demand for VR/AR/MR technology are increasing, VR/AR/MR device-related technologies and markets are still in their infancy, and there is no objective standard for evaluating the performance of devices. We are conducting research to develop standards to evaluate the performance of these devices, and in this paper, we propose a method and system for evaluating the tracking performance of VR/AR/MR devices. In consideration of the characteristics of wearable devices, a system for evaluation based on human movement is designed, and a measurement procedure and calculation method are proposed to increase the reliability of evaluation.
