In this paper, a new data-aided interference cancellation (IC) GFDM receiver is proposed for satellite communications. Based on pilot subcarriers and new match filter, the proposed scheme can solve the receiving problem of raised cosine (RC) filtering GFDM. Abstract

In order to meet the critical 5G requirements both in terms of global connectivity and large throughput, satellite communications provide a valuable solution to complement and extend terrestrial mobile communications.
