In recent years, efforts are made to upgrade power quality. Multi pulse converters are used to achieve good quality of electrical power. Phase shift transformer is used to obtain 12 and 24 pulses as outputs. The quality of power mainly depends on some parameters like, variation in voltage magnitude, transients in voltage/current, harmonic content in waveforms etc. So in this paper, improvement in power quality is shown by comparing the THD (total harmonic distortion) of 6, 12 & 24 pulses.
