Abstract

Anemia has become one of the diseases most commonly caused by undernutrition worldwide. It mostly affects children at pre school age and women at reproductive age in developing countries. Various campaigns around the world have been carried out to eradicate it. However, this situation persists. Therefore, the consumption of a drink based on the quinoa leaf is proposed for the cure of anemia. This work demonstrates the economic viability of this product and the market´s acceptance.
