However, in such systems, channel estimation is a challenge due to the high channel complexity and limited coherence time. This paper develops a low complexity mmWave multipath channel estimation algorithm exploiting directional energy elimination. The algorithm alleviates the cumulative angle estimation error in the path by path estimation scheme. We also design a codebook which is suitable to the proposed algorithm. Abstract
