Abstract

Project Oriented Learning (POL) is a teaching methodology, where students have their own learning, they devoped a product that allows them to apply and show the acquired knowledge. POL as an educational tool allows the student to develop skills such as interdisciplinary work and problem solving to tackle current scientific and social demands while creating an innovative transformation in the educational process. This article presents the process of developing an intelligent thermostat using the Raspberry PI platform, and Internet of Things IoT technologies, aimed at training students at the level of a Technical College , enrolled in the ninth quarter of the Mechatronics degree curriculum.
