Abstract

In order to promote the development of national indigenous innovation demonstration zones, Chinese government has set out a series of policies, which intend to improve the institutional system of science and technology innovation, develop the strategic emerging industries, and accelerate the transformation of the economic development mode. This paper raises the analysis on the relevant policies of 17 China's national indigenous innovation demonstration zones. The paper delineates the status quo of and the classification of the policies. By using the method of policy document analysis, the paper explores the characteristics of policy tool and the paths of policy diffusion. Based on the aforesaid research, the paper intends to investigate the policy diffusion of Zhongguancun national indigenous innovation demonstration zones, and to propose the suggestions to promote the development of these zones.
