Abstract

This paper presents a new evaluation and performance comparison of a reliability-based iterative decoder for Generalized LDPC codes with BCH subcodes, using Soft-Input Soft-Output (SISO) Chase algorithm, compared with the same algorithm employing Hamming subcodes.
