Furthermore, the linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is applied to establish sufficient conditions for the existence of the observer. Based on the estimated fault information, the active fault tolerant controller can be designed to make the post-fault probability density function (PDF) still track the given distribution. Abstract

New fault diagnosis and active fault tolerant control (FTC) algorithms are proposed for a class of nonlinear singular stochastic distribution control (SDC) systems in this paper.
