Hypotheses about the crisis of traditional family relations, nuclearisation and atomisation of the family are considered. Abstract

The article analyses the legislation of the Russian Federation and several developed countries in the field of marital and family relations, as well as the goals and directions of the development of the social institution of the family within the framework of strategies and concepts approved by the state. The article presents data and opinions of researchers on the current state and forms of family relations.
