Abstract
In the context of application of open alliance innovation strategy, this study researches on the impact of supply chain vertical collaboration and horizontal co-opetition on organizational exploratory and exploitative innovation performance. In this paper, we use resource orchestration as contextual and explore their moderating effects. Collect date from 271 Equipment manufacturing enterprises in China to test the hypotheses by using empirical research. Using the method of hierarchical regression analysis, this paper finds the supply chain vertical collaboration is positively related to exploitative innovation performance, yet is bell-shaped related to exploratory innovation performance. Supply chain horizontal co-opetition is positively related to exploratory innovation performance. Moreover resource orchestration has moderating effects to supply chain and innovation performance. This study results helps broaden the theoretical perspective of supply chain collaboration and strengthen the research of supply chain collaboration and innovation performance.
