Abstract
The article is devoted to the right of legislative initiative of the BRICS heads of state. It is concluded that the Constitutions of the four states that are part of the BRICS contain different norms and fix different content of the right of legislative initiative of the head of state, and in the basic law of the People's Republic of China, the head of state does not have it and is granted to the legislative body - the National People's Congress.
