Abstract

Although four traction motors of two undercarriages in one tram car have the same type with the same label parameters, properties of the individual motors are slightly different. This made problems during tram operating because the sensitive electronic control evaluates the small difference of motor's properties like slip and stops trams. There was developed method which ensured that the motors in one tram car are under resolution of control electronic. We call this progress as a pairing. The paper deals with long term experience which we get during using of this testing method.
