Abstract
Different types of gas sensors are used to implement applications which investigate ambient air pollution levels. Carbon monoxide (CO) concentration measurement is an integral part of dedicated environment monitoring stand-alone specialized systems. This paper presents an alternative solution for CO concentration monitoring, based on an original virtual instrumentation concept.
