Abstract

Determining the optimal composition, location and operation consistency of various switching devices and protective equipment plays an important role in economically justified provision of the required level of reliability in overhead distribution networks. One of the fundamental difficulties in solving this problem is the need for simultaneous optimization of several indicators that characterize reliability. In this regard, an approach based on the use of a modified greedy optimization algorithm is proposed below. It allows the most uniform improvement of all considered reliability indicators by automatically adjustment of their weights at each iteration of the computational process
