This paper gives their work principles, equivalent circuits for analysis in theory, basic equations, and compares them with each other. Abstract
Synchronously launching lots of projectiles to form barrage against missile is necessary in some occasions . This paper presents four new concept of electromagnetic rail launchers volleying projectiles powered by single high-power pulsed power supply, named respectively as multi-barrel parallel, common armature, multi-barrel serial, armature serial.
