Abstract

Co-channel interference (CCI) on pilot subcarriers can severely degrade the channel estimation accuracy in reuse-1 cellular OFDM systems. Currently most OFDM channel estimation schemes use a Kalman filter, which implicitly assumes that the CCI is Gaussian.
