Abstract
The paper presents the evaluation of the impact of the COVID-19 health crisis on tourism in Romania with a focus on the market effects and the impact on tourism operators. The onset of the COVID-19 health crisis in March 2020 led to restrictions on the movement of people, which led to behavioral changes in accommodation as well as in the behavior of tourists (tourism consumers).
