The results obtained can be used to determine the spatial correlation matrix at both sides of the transmitter and receiver in multiple-input-multiple-output systems. Furthermore, it can be used to predict the system performance of the EVS under various channel conditions. Abstract
A closed-form expression for the spatial fading correlation function between the components of an electromagnetic vector sensor (EVS) in a 3-dimensional multipath channel is derived.
