Abstract

A new method for determining the location of single-phase-to-ground faults through pin insulation in power networks with isolated neutral with using smart technologies has been proposed. The developed device for determining the location of faults in the power network with an accuracy of transmission tower. The features of connecting developed devices to existing SCADA-systems of network companies are described.
