Abstract
The signaling system ERTMS/ECTS (European Rail Traffic Management System/ European Train Control System) have been created in order to standardize the European railway signal. ERTMS/ETCS permits safe control of the European railway. Hence, the train detection systems must provide the signaling system with adequate information regarding the position and movement of trains.
