In this long surgical career, I had the good fortune to interact and work in close association with surgical practitioners of several disciplines, viz. general surgery, plastic surgery, cardiac surgery neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, ocular surgery, and pediatric surgery, just to name a few. A unique observation was made in this long career that two breeds of surgeons hardly ever conduct randomized trials: the plastic surgeons and the endocrine surgeons. Abstract
