Abstract
Research Article The aim of this study is to examine the opinions of the pre-service science teachers about the process of organizing the science laboratory environment. The holistic single case design was used in this study. Thirty pre-service science teachers voluntarily participated to organize the science laboratory environment. After the arrangement, they were interviewed. From the analysis of the interview data, the findings were obtained regarding the reason for the tasks performed in the organization process of the science laboratory, the difficulties encountered, the remarkable situations about the materials and tools, the emotions felt and the contributions of this process. Most of the participants stated that they performed the process of organizing the science laboratory to find the position of the materials and the tools. They explained that they did not have serious difficulties in this process. They also stated that they had not met some materials and tools before. The majority of them clarified that they felt positive emotions during this process and that this process contributed to learning new information, creating an effective learning environment, gaining self-confidence and creating awareness, which are very important for teacher education. For this reason, various qualitative and quantitative studies can be conducted to determine the effect of this process on the knowledge and skills of the participants.
