Airborne system of locomotive control

Abstract

The need to decrease the energy consumptions of rail transport and the possibility of the realization of the airborne system of locomotive control makes the problem of the system design not only actual but also solvable. Sensors of the airborne system are intended for operative information gathering on the traffic working speed, traversed path, positions of the engineer controller, engine current, voltage of contact system, current signal of the traffic light, necessary special technological characteristics as well as on external factors: the environment temperature and moisture, wind direction and velocity, etc.
