Abstract

Alternating current electric arc furnaces negatively influence the electrical grid that often causes power quality decrease. The traditionally applied measures and methods aim to at reduce or eliminate the consequences of such influence. This study proposed a schematic solution that targets the source of the influence and reduces the extent of negative factor generation.
