Irrigation canals, water intakes and hydraulic structures are destructed and deformed from the natural climate and artificial factors. A large capacity bucket with shovel form equipped with roller designed for cleaning of lined canals from silting and sediment was considered. A laboratory and field studies were conducted with a model of bucket and bucket with actual size. Abstract

The article deals with one of the most important problems of mechanization of rural and economic work on the state of irrigation canals and ensuring their high-quality functioning. Irrigation canals, water intakes and hydraulic structures are destructed and deformed from the natural climate and artificial factors. A large capacity bucket with shovel form equipped with roller designed for cleaning of lined canals from silting and sediment was considered. A laboratory and field studies were conducted with a model of bucket and bucket with actual size.
