Based on the characters of city lanes, this paper provides a bus lane real-time monitoring method based on image processing, which combines the characters of city structural road and adopts the Hough transform under constraint conditions to detect straight-line lane. After detecting the bus lane area, this method provides further study of binary image in the lane. Extract and coordinate the patch information in the lane, to predict if it is the vehicle, then tests the vehicle utilizing the radar measurement technology.
