Abstract

In cognitive radio system, a GOCA-CFAR algorithm is proposed to detect whether the multi-channel is idle and reduce the error rate of detecting the idle channel in a specified time slot. The algorithm is deduced mathematically. Compared with CA-CFAR and GO-CFAR algorithm, the simulation results show that GOCA-CFAR algorithm has the lowest error rate in detecting idle channels.
