Abstract

Wireless Body Sensor Networks (WBSNs) are an exclusive division of sensor networks used for proactive health monitoring. Errors that occur during the transmission of sensed data can corrupt the effectiveness of the network. The tighter resource constraints of WBSNs make the most common method of error control codes (ECC) an inappropriate solution. Hence, error reduction methods at the transceiver level helps in achieving the target of the network within the constraints.
