The paper researched and practiced the key technology related to the high efficient and adaptive shearer autonomous positioning technology, shearer autonomous obstacle avoidance technology, intelligent diagnosis of coal mining equipment, intelligent recognition technology of coal-rock interface. Through theoretical research and application practice, the feasibility, necessity, and advancement of the intelligent coal mine are proved. Abstract

This paper reviewed the development process and the current status of comprehensive mechanized coal mining equipment technology in China.
