Abstract

Through analytical integral, this paper first obtains the analytic representations of the transient radiation of antenna when the step pulse excites the aperture synchronously. After that it presents a quantitative analysis of relationship of the amplitude of the field to the pulse width of the rectangle pulse, the size of the aperture, the distance and the angle of the observation.
