The old college try: Volunteers in fundraising efforts for small liberal arts colleges

Abstract

The preceding chapters examined fundraising volunteers' roles from a large-scale perspective. This chapter refines the view to a smaller, more localized level by addressing one subset of organizations—the small liberal arts college. College and university fundraising is an area familiar to nearly all professionals in our field, and the use of educational fundraising as an example helps apply previously outlined concepts.
