Abstract
Prior to the global Covid-19 outbreak, the rise of nationalism had started to reshape global politics; nationalism in political discourse has strengthened across the world, especially in Europe through the successful rise of nationalist and populist political parties in Italy, Austria, Hungary, France, and Germany.
